My Trans Report Card

1. Initial Presentation: Too big, too heavy to be feminine at 6'4" and 225 pounds. That's mostly the snob in me. Yes, I would like to have a chance at being less conspicuous, but since they're going to notice me, I will sport fabulous confidence.

2. Eyes: Pretty blue. An asset.

3. Nose: Bulbous with large pores. Oh well. Nothing a little foundation can't hide.

4. Mouth: A great smile. I'd love a smaller, narrower jaw. It's on my wish list.

5. Facial hair: Had just enough laser treatment before it turned gray, that I'm fine after a shave.

6. Skin: Pretty good for its 60 plus years of wear. The hormones have definitely helped.

7. Neck: I've been gifted with an inconspicuous Adam's apple. Thank you,  Lord.

8. Chest: Alas, barrel chested from asthma and chronic bronchitis. (No, I have never smoked.). My breasts are coming along very nicely, and give me immense satisfaction and pleasure. They make a girl. I am also pleased to say that the laser treatment got rid of all my unwanted chest and abdominal hair.

9. Abdomen. Before I started this project I had my abdomen looking nice and trim at a weight of 184 pounds. Some laparoscopic surgery has produced a dreadful tendency towards bloating, which is both uncomfortable and looks horrid.  It seems that hormones in their effect on fat distribution have so far given me more of a pot belly and no hips. So it goes. Careful choice of clothing can overcome this disadvantage.

10. Hips: Bony. I have lost all my padding. Pants want to slip right down.

11. Butt: List most of my padding, but my partner likes my nice tight butt.

12. Legs: this is where my height creates an asset. They're long and slender. My nanny always used to say to me as a child, "You have such pretty legs you should be a girl."

13. Feet: Size 13 and developing hammer toes. Not easy feet to buy shoes for.

14. Hair: my hormones came way too late so my own hair has a sizeable balding patch that I am blessed not to be able to see in a mirror. Finasteride has done wonders in filling out what was thinning in front. I love my wigs and being able to change my hair style effortlessly for any mood.

15. Genitalia: Still male. Testicles smaller with hormones. I am fond of my penis (as is my partner) but the sack and balls have got to go.

16. Hands: My mother always told me that I have fine fingers, like a pianist's. I'm pleased with them. Strong but not clunky, just dexterous enough to impress.

16. I was endowed with a loud low voice, made worse by hearing loss. But I have been working on it (Thanks to Kathy Perez) and there's hope. I can get it up, and I actually have fun when I let my too serious monotone go and ride a gentle roller coaster with my inflection. Creating a voice is fun, but a lot of work.

16. Posture: As a tall person, I grew up slouching, which is now hard to overcome. I walk better as a woman, more confident, more interested in my world, proud to hold my boobs up high and in front.

17. Personality: Gentle. Quiet. Thoughtful. Sensitive. Curious. Playful. Introverted. Serious. Flippant. Iconoclastic. Contrarian. Intelligent. Nurturant. Loyal. Unflappable. Poised. Confident. Humble. Self-effacing. Patient. Creative. Idealistic. Romantic. Hopeful. Loving. Giving. Proud. Determined. Easy-going. Accepting. A natural teacher. In short, a perfect woman.
